Pepper Advertising continues to develop its people capability through its rewards and recognition programme. The 2013 Golden Pepper award, the highest employee recognition award at Pepper, which includes a cash incentive, was awarded to Jessica Marquez and Damian Primus. The Golden Pepper is awarded based on people effectiveness, commitment and passion and winners are chosen by their peers.
Jessica Marquez, Traffic and Production Coordinator at Pepper, is responsible for tracking and routing jobs in the agency and sourcing print production and premium suppliers. In presenting the award, Team Lead Administration and Finance, Acklima Maharaj said, “Jessica in a relatively short time has embraced the Pepper spirit of looking out for each other and doing whatever it takes to support our business through managing ‘always tight’ timelines. That her team has recognised her as one who best represents Pepper’s values, did not come as a surprise to me.”
Damian Primus is the recipient of the Golden Pepper for the third time. Maharaj said: “We call Damian the ‘can-do’ man. He gets the job done plain and simple. He has won this award twice before, so he seems to be making a habit of this. As Office Assistant and Courier, Damian is the go to guy who beats the rain and traffic to successfully complete all his tasks. He is an important link in our service delivery to clients. His positive attitude is infectious and willingness to do anything at any time, makes him a key player on the Pepper team.”
