10 reasons why I wish pepper had done this Orkin ad

  1. Its single mindedness  (just in case you did not get it; We’ll get you wherever you are Mr. Pest)
  2. Clearing the room was pure genius
  3. Copy and graphics are saying the same thing (one selling idea)
  4. Branding is adequate (client did not have to say; “can you make the logo bigger?” or maybe they did)
  5. The idea is campaign-able (they also did other rooms like the kitchen)
  6. Its simplicity
  7. Its freshness
  8. Its copy efficiency
  9. It does not do the obvious and show pests or rat traps or other cliches
  10. It tells a story with 5 words, a logo and a picture

Well done rethink.

    it’s 100% visual. The bottom line is that people are visual and although ad agencies can explain it in different ways the layman will just tell you “ah i get it” or not.
