Lady Gaga has definitely convinced me that I am from a previous era, one that finds it difficult to make sense of many “normal” things of today. Now, traditionally, when we think of a perfume, we think of imagery of flowers, butterflies, waterfalls, young beautiful people, walking barefoot through the tulips etc. Not so with Lady Gaga’s commercial for her perfume Fame.
This ad scares me more than any Hollywood horror flick from the past twenty years. This is so dark and gothic that I expect that when a woman applies Fame, she would gain infamy for exuding a putrid scent.
I must be old.
